Perspective
Working environment considerations and the desire to enhance the customer experience were the background for implementing the LibraryMate TM pilot project. The product has been specially designed for use by Århus Central Library, the biggest lender of books in the country and recipient of three tons of books daily.

Product
In the past a returned book could be handled up to five times before it ended up back on the shelf. This has now been reduced to a single handling thanks to LibraryMate TM, which can handle up to 2,000 items per hour, sort and despatch them to 71 different destinations.

LibraryMate TM has now been implemented at a number of other libraries in Denmark – to the satisfaction of users and staff alike.
